0.1%? What? How do people move in Cyprus, do they crawl instead, or fly, or something?

[-] huppakee@lemm.ee 17 points 6 days ago

possible explanation would be that 99.9% walk and cycle. but not for 30 mins or more. Still crazy statistic

Yeah, I suspect bad data or misunderstood question. Even if you go everywhere by car or public transport, accumulating 30 min of walking is not that unlikely.

I think almost no one took it as cumulative or underestimate how long it takes to walk anywhere. I could easily accumulate 30 minutes of walking during work and I'm sitting in an office most of the time.

Look how tiny it is! You can cross Cyprus in less than a 30 minute walk. There's simply no reason to walk more than 30 minutes a day.

I wanna see you cross Cyprus in less than a 30 minutes walk lol

Buy me a ticket, I'll give it a shot.

No need for a return, I'll figure that part out myself

They walk for less than 30 mins a day.

Everyone drive everywhere. And park as close as possible to their destination place

And yes, when not driving, many people just sit on their arse pretty much the whole day
