Guidelines:

- If possible, credit creators of each comics in the title or body of your post. If you are the creator, please credit yourself. A simple “- Me” would suffice.
- In general terms, write in body of your post as much information as possible (dates, creators, editors, links).
- If you found the image on the web, it is encouraged to put the direct link to the image in the ‘Link’ field when creating a post, instead of uploading the image to Lemmy. Direct links usually end in .jpg, .png, etc.

Society always taught me that it's creepy or annoying or objectifying to compliment women. (I'm a man)
Which never made sense to me because I love compliments. But I guess the experience is different for many women.
Typically if you are complimenting someone on a choice that they made, as opposed to something they don't have control over (or at least not easy control) you're good.
The example in the comic is good, because it's complimenting a choice. Complimenting someone's body features can land you in the 'creepy' camp, depending on the context.
the difference between "wow, you're beautiful!" and "hey, i liked your style!".
So... I can compliment them for being a choice piece of ass? I'm learning a lot of new things to try today!
Whats funny is I just did not even think of it that way. Seeing the comic and relating I thought about seeing some dude and saying that shirt rocks or sweet bike.
Maybe because of the andrew tate fans, things will balance out (Man hating women and telling them how shitty they look, etc)
