To be fair.... they were pretty much just using the Adobe logo but purple and on a diet

Wasn't it something like you can only protect your trademark in your specific domain? Pretty sure Adobe isn't in emulating yet.

They're both in the domain of software and apps. Emulation is too much of a drilled down niche.
