The only reason a woman needs for an abortion is that she wants one
Everyone else can fuck right off.
I mean, there are medical reasons too. Some women would prefer not to have an abortion, but not doing so could kill them, as we've seen time and time and time and time again (not an exhaustive list)
If they are at risk of dying and others insist that they stay pregnant then the forced-birthers are culpable for the deaths that result
But of course, that's doesn't matter to them, just like they don't care about the child once it's born
There's always a risk of dying, because the risk of maternal death in the US is way too high for a country that's pretending to be developed.
So what you’re saying is it should be their choice? Feel like there’s a phrase for that.
100% this. That bullshit about women going out and having sex then rolling into the abortion clinic as birth control is so much shit. No one is doing that shit.
Pisses me off these Republicans want to control women so fucking bad. I hate every single one that needs some sort of deranged control over women.
Not to give the argument credibility, but there are women who do that. I knew one and heard about another.
Confirmation bias is too strong for everyone to resist. They often don't even need a single varifiable source.
Basically, it's contextual and should be treated on a case by case basis, and that is why it must be legal for all, because these cases cannot be effectively foreseen.
What context?
It's nobody else's choice
Nobody else is gestating the foetus, nobody else will potentially be squeezing it out of their body, to great cost
The toll that pregnancy takes on women is woefully underestimated by almost everyone.
Women lose teeth because the foetus parasitises their calcium to such a great extent
There is no "context" other than being OK with forcing a woman to be an incubator

It's that simple.
I wasn't arguing with you, you misunderstood my point. I was just adding onto what you said.
My point being: when we start to try to apply moral "code" to something as personal and nuanced as abortion, people always suffer because it's so personal and nuanced.
I am agreeing with you, it should be nobodys decision but the woman, because every woman's situation (CONTEXT) is different, so there's literally no way to apply some kind of blanket morality to abortions.
The reason a woman might want one can change based on so many factors, so trying to dictate that women should only be able to get one when they're needed requires defining situations where they're needed, the thing is, though, if an abortion is wanted, then it is needed.
