Edit: It will never cease to make me laugh that I get more genuinely serious discussion comments on my meme posts in /c/Memes than anywhere else. I'm not hating, I love it.

They're similar. Detroit style has more cheese (like a lot more) as well as the cheese usually being cheddar, blackened/carmelized sides and is a denser/chewier bread. Siccilian style pizza is closer to a sort of foccacia bread. Usually softer, mozza more often as the base cheese and has more herbs and stuff. They're very similar but also fairly different too.
