I get the joke in the title, but not the one in the image. Is "cat sank" a homophone with something in French?

The numbers four and five (quatre, cinq) are pronounced like ‘cat’ and ‘sank’ in informal spoken French.

Just in case you ever want it, here's the French spelling:

"Un deux trois quatre cinq" (12345)

😄 That's awesome, I'd like to say lol, but it's really just funny enough to get a big grin

4 = quatre ("cat"), 5 = cinq ("sank")

it's the kind of joke that further diminishes my already mutilated will to live
