'History repeats itself' wasn't supposed to be advice; plus there's supposed to be more than just 20 years in-between.

I thought libs were making the claim that we all learned from the Iraq war? Heck, Iraq and Iran are nearly the same word but with one letter difference!

i was thinking that they were going to do a false flag with the USS Nimitz but now I'm thinking it's just taco Trump again. The US can't handle getting their carriers sunk, f35s shot down and oil going to $135 a barrel or whatever.

another thing to bear in mind is that Iran is also a large exporter of natural gas, which alongside it's use as fuel is also used extensively to make fertilizer
food prices and natural gas prices are strongly linked for this reason

Isn’t it good for the US if oil price rises, being a net exporter of oil? (I’m a dumbass so probably wrong)

Remember that Americans are car-brained as hell. Gas prices rising due to scarcity will lead to massive price increases in peoples cost of living, which might genuinely lead to popular revolt. Like, Americans are already getting squeezed from all sides, so any increase in un-avoidable expenses is going to have repercussions.

Its good for US oil companies. This gives an excuse to jack up prices at the pump even if supply isn't disrupted.
