What like the US isn't transparently behind Ukraine?

[-] KrasnaiaZvezda@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago

And Russia didn't punish them for it.

The usa is also behind the colonists and Iran hasn't done anything against them either.

In this case I guess we can look at the colonist entity the same as Ukraine, a sacrificial pawn to soak the damage and drive the fight and the propaganda without endangering the empire's core. The yanks might not have a lot of production capabilities but they are reasonably safe "on the rear" and they will continue to use everything they have to try to kill and enslave everyone like they and their predecessors have always done.

They punished the proxy. Ukraine has lost, and so has the billions in regime change investment that will never pay out. More proxies and regime change investments that will not pay out. It's currency hegemony is dying. Without irresistible capacity for violence, the empire loses legitimacy, is stretched thin, flails, lashes out clownishly, and digs its own grave. This is not the same word it was in 1991.

They punished the proxy.

Proxies are like fruits. You go to the tree and grab ten more.

The only people that care about taking it out on the proxies are those impotent and without the will to strike against the real agressors.

Ukraine has lost

For the yanks that's seen as a minor setback. See the fact they are going against Iran now without waiting for Ukraine to be over.

and so has the billions in regime change investment that will never pay out.

A lot of the money has already changed hands so the people in power still come out on top, the only difference is how much they stole.

It’s currency hegemony is dying.

Ageed. But it's not dead yet, and if things continue like this they might never actually die and just stay around, weakend for sure but still lashing out at everyone they can...

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding here about why the US pretends to push past red lines but does it in a way that isn't strategically significant for PR. The reactor would be much more than that. Embarrassing to see leftists posting stuff about how Russia has no red lines and "China's final warning" means nothing. The west want to appear strong without committing.

Similarly, people act like Araghchi is neglecting his duties by saying legally helpful stuff to set the record straight rather than, I don't know, grabbing a rifle himself. Get real people. You don't take this more seriously than those getting bombed so stop acting like it
