I'll bet the bachelor of science degree is in something. BS in psychology. BS in materials (new to me). So you're going to be a counselor, or a psychologist, or whatever a materialist is called other than materialist which doesn't make sense.
I'm not sure what you are saying. Its not Materialist its Material Scientist, they study the science of materials and get a diploma in Materials Science, and the job is called Materials Scientist. Its basically Math, chemistry and metalurgial sciences rolled I into one discipline.
