I literally cannot recall the words that just came out of my own mouth

This happens to me pretty regularly. I’ve been waxing philosophical a lot as of late and I’ll hit on a really succinct way of phrasing something and my friend will stop and ask me to repeat the way I had just phrased it. It can sometimes take a good 10-15 seconds to try and figure it out, if I can at all.
