8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I don't see how it could possibly help him. It's just going to keep the story in the media, longer it stays in the news cycle the bigger it snowballs.
Distraction from something worse, probably.
Anyone that already hates Trump isn't distracted by this. If anything it's only making people that voted for him become more suspicious of him and take criticism of him more seriously.
This isn't a distraction. This is Trump absolutely failing to control the narrative with his base for the first real time.
Because even MAGA voters are ok with burning down the government if it's true that our two party system and the billionaires they work for are literally protecting pedophiles. Which I don't think many people doubt at this point.
MAGA just had the delusions that somehow the sex pest billionaire was on their side.

they played thier cards to early, tariffs, bbb , ice/deporations now they have nothing to distract MAGA with.
The funny thing is that we are only here BECAUSE they played the Epstein card so early. They could have literally not released anything about it and most of their base would have probably been ok.
They promised a lot and then did a 180. Made them really suspicious.
the bbb being very disastirous, trying to make thier inbreds forget about the harm it does in the next few election, thought people would ignore the epstein lists this time. also tariffs/ lack of tourists are hurting red states so they needed a distraction, and of course the MSMs wont report how bad it is currently in those states, so the need for a distraction is the key.
What's worse than the President of the world's most influential nation being part of a child sex trafficking scheme? Other than nuclear war, which would be pretty hard to distract people from.
The deportation of democrats and lefties and undesirables and the deaths of those cut off medicaid/care and starving kids, oh, yeah, and the nuclear war.
Back of the mind worry/conspiracy theory:

It won't, they'll produce a bunch of falsified documents implicating everybody but TACO, and half the country will accept it as gospel.
Yeah, this sounds like "make me a list that I can use to target the rich people that don't like me".
it would probably be heavily redacted documents, or the same ones that was already released.
It sure won't satisfy any of the conspiracy theorists. This has been steeping for too long and imaginations have been running wild. Whatever they produce will never live up to the bombshell people are now expecting.
