This is what we've been aiming for. And I hold a grudge too. I haven't bought a Sony product for well over 20 years, and Samsung is going on 15 now. I've convinced multiple people to abandon Telus because they made an enemy of me about 25 years ago. I'm a crotchety bastard and I stick by my guns.
If the US gets another dollar out of me, it won't be for lack of trying to fuck them.
I thought I was the only one still stubbornly boycotting Sony for the rootkit. I, too, hold a grudge, and I'm looking at Canadian Tire with a new appreciation these days
The rootkit thing absolutely infuriated me. The self-righteous gall of installing that shit with autorun.inf and sending info back sent me right over the edge. To this day, people are still surprised how brazen that was when they look it up.
Elbows up!
You don't need to try and fuck them. They are doing that to themselves with more skill, urgency and depth of consequence than anything we can come up with. Just watch with wonder and amazement as America descends into irrelevance then obscurity.
Ah! Nice to see somebody else on the Sony and Samsung forever boycott. Sony was my first one ever I think. I have a whole (mental) list of companies that won’t see my $$$
