If there aren't any mass protests within the next 24 hours, then they'll get away with it politically
The Euros are completely subsumed by their role as the "Junior" partner of global neo-imperialism, if it's not ripping off black people, killing brown people or condescending toward Asians, then Europe can't comprehend it, they don't have the civilizational bandwidth for anything other than expansionist neoliberalism
Eurolibs only think in the short-term and will protest tooth and nail over concessions (only for said concessions to be recalled soon later) AND only if those concessions benefit them..
As long as they remain clueless about this and as long as they continue to receive slop in the form of treats, they're sitting this one out.
