Cuba made a lung cancer vaccine back in 2011 and it's still in clinical trials in the US. Even if we ever got cancer vaccines they were always going to slow roll them. Chemotherapy is just way too profitable
Similar to the Ebola vaccine which was acquired and then not developed at all for a decade and a half
