putting my initial skepticism (and to be honest anger) aside, the best i can say about it is it isn't half assed or made for a cheap cash grab. if you haven't played the original and can't play it now it's certainly worth your time (because the thing it's based on is a masterpiece) but i would say "reified" is a good description of it.

i can't still figure out who is this game for. since the port appears to keep the original dialogues and scenes intact, i don't see how it could be suitable to a casual audience or people that prefer short form content. you can't just talk to joyce about the pale in 5 minute chunks waiting in line while in between you're also yelling at people on twitter that no over the counter cold medicine doesn't make people grow an extra testicle.
