and there are barely any roads there.

All roads there are controlled by Brazil and Venezuela. Brazil has blocked all roads since 2024 in an attempt to prevent a conflict between Guyana and Venezuela. This seems just Guyana under orders from the USA trying to start shit up against Venezuela.

For Americans unfamiliar with South American geography, this is like saying there was Canadian aggression on polling places on the eastern Alaska border or the northwestern Maine border.

I noticed the Telegraph posted this: "Venezuelans call for Trump to invade. Opposition hopes high that US naval buildup against drug cartels could signal overthrow of Maduro"

"A build-up of US warships in the Caribbean has fuelled speculation that a military operation is imminent, and has gripped opposition journalists and commentators. The US says the aim of the naval deployment is to combat drug cartels. Washington recently designated the Cartel of the Suns – a drug-trafficking group it claims is composed of high-ranking Venezuelan officials – as a terrorist group."

The machine is churning up.

That said, they've done this in the past (send a naval fleet out) to various coastal Latin American countries, even to Venezuela as recently as during the buildup to the infamous 'Bay of Piglets' Juan Guaido mercenary fuck up. It's a pressure tactic to make Maduro react and crack down hard on opposition - which the media then represents as him being a paranoid dictator. At the same time however it emboldens the opposition, and if he doesn't crack down on them and the opposition attempts a coup like they've done in the past then the U.S is ready to step in like Grenada, or Brazil (1964) under Operation Brother Sam.

I'll add to this that there are plenty of valid criticisms of Maduro but it's hard to tell which are forced decisions due to the impossible position he's been in throughout his leadership.

Theres also the US invasion of the DR in 1965 (the Dominican Civil-War), when the US, Haiti and many of the US puppet regimes armed forces invaded the DR to remove the first democratically elected Dominican President, the nationalist social-democrat, Juan Bosch. Bosch had been removed from power by a Far-Right Military coup, but he had the support of some conservatives and liberals, specially within the armed forces and attempted to return to power. The US invaded to stop their puppet goverment from collapsing.

Like all militaries in Latin America, the Venezuelan Army is full of reactionary brainworms (The Venezuelan Right/Opposition) also hates Guyana) and demands, they seem to be pretty loyal to Maduro considering how the 2019 military coup attempt failed to gain any support within the army saved by some high-ranking generals that ended up purged. Some people said Russia and Cuba had sent troops to help Maduro purge the army in 2018 - 2019 and that helped Maduro avoid a Bolivia 2019 coup scenario.

Yup, no shortage of examples. Damned if you do and damned if you don't, such is the way when you won't cede ground to the most destructive empire the planet has ever seen.

Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society.
