- News oriented content (general reviews, previews or retrospectives allowed).

Absurd comparison. I don't pay anyone to install node packages.
Then what the fuck am I paying 30% of a game's cost to valve for? This is a consumer right's issue. I understand if you'd like to buy and run malware on your computer. Most people find that to be undesirable and would like some guarantee that malware isn't included in the game where you're forced to pay a middle man 30% of the cost.
