My sources for the preamble come mostly from here, here, and here.

The thread image depicts Kenyan police, trained by the Zionist entity, in a meeting with President Ruto before being sent to Haiti, sourced from this article.

As has been planned for the last couple years, foreign police officers have been inside Haiti for a few months now. It will surprise nobody to learn that this has not gone very well. Gangs continue to control much of the country, and violence has continued in the form of massacres and forced relocations (approximately 1.3 million). Something like 80% of the capital, Port-au-Prince, is under the control of one gang or another.

The aim by the US was to import 2500 police officers to Haiti from a wide variety of countries. One of those was Kenya; President Ruto had to fight his own country's courts to force this through, and ironically is now apparently considering withdrawing those officers once the UN mandate expires on October 2nd. The issue here is not only the limited manpower (Haiti has a population of 12 million), but also very pedestrian things, like the fact that the officers who arrive don't even speak the language.

The situation in Haiti appears to be a fairly standard operation of American national control, in which both battling sides are being supported by the US in order to create maximum disorganization and prevent a coherent political force from arising and thus threatening their Caribbean interests. While the US funds foreign forces to arrive in Haiti to "control the situation" or similar justifications, the Haitian gangs get their weapons smuggled in from the US itself. That this is happening alongside escalations against Venezuela is obviously not a coincidence - in a world in which American interests are being gradually shrugged off, and where the American state military is becoming rapidly more impotent and unable to dissuade and defeat even tiny states like Yemen, total imperial dominion of their immediate surrounding territory must be ensured by any means necessary.

The police and the gangs are likely designed to be mutually reinforcing, without even much kayfabe of fighting each other. As an example, once the Kenyan police arrived, they immediately began brutalizing anti-government protestors instead of focussing on gang activity. They were trained by the Zionist entity, after all.

While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

NYCrimes: Three People Shot at Dallas ICE Facility

Three people were shot at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in Dallas on Wednesday morning, ICE officials said. Kristi Noem, the secretary of homeland security, said there were “multiple injuries and fatalities” and the shooter was found dead of a “self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

Details of the circumstances were not immediately available. “While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them,” Ms. Noem said. “It must stop.”

[-] WildWeezing420@hexbear.net 65 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

This is becoming a pattern. Nazi rightwinger shoots the victims of empire (Immigrants, Unhoused, Muslims, Trans people) and then the state further cracks down on those groups in response to them being victimized by mass shootings.

Two homeless camps were attacked by mass shooters recently, and the political follow-up was to "clean up" the homeless camps in question because they were "unsafe for the community".

The right is finding out that using Israeli tactics works on this cattle population. Kill the victims, use it for further targeting. They are being rewarded for mass shootings, getting what they want.

The statement is about ICE pigs receiving violence when the people shot were immigrants omori-furious

Shows how gringos don't see non anti-cracker-aktion as human

[-] da_gay_pussy_eatah@hexbear.net 53 points 1 week ago

This has to have been pig on pig violence or else Kristi Noem's statement would have made Hitler blush

The sniper shot ice detainees. doomer

[-] SupFBI@hexbear.net 32 points 1 week ago

Shot into the van containing the detainees. Could be a bad shot, could be a racist. Could be both!

Anyone find the political flip over the the past decade crazy? Conservatives have gone from the Alex Jones conspiracy theorist ramblings about FEMA putting everyone in camps under Obama, conspiracies about mass shootings, and general derangement and anti-semitism (everything is Israel's fault), to the "party of common sense". Liberals have gone from the "common sense party" to the conspiracy theorists. ICE putting everyone in camps, conspiracies about mass shootings (every shooter is a right wing "groyper", a word that they didn't know existed a week ago), and general derangement, but usually without the anti-semitism.Yes there are still conspiracy theorists on the right (Candace Jones in particular, Tucker Carlson), but they've been sidelined in the "conservative movement". The mainstream voices in the movement suck up to Trump. "Blueskyism" is the 2020s version of Alex Jones 2010s conspiracies, but neatly repacked for radicalized liberals by so called intellectuals and academics.

That's the other thing. The people carrying out these acts of violence, shootings, while on the "left" in the United States, they aren't exactly card carrying communists. These are left liberals, radicalized liberals. This is not "radical left terrorism", it's "radical liberal terrorism." We even had a deranged gen x liberal shoot up ABC offices over Jimmy Kimmel being pulled off air for a few days! WTF? This is not ANTIFA or anything like that. These are radicalized "normies". People who have main lined MSNBC, Bluesky and Reddit propaganda about Trump being the fascist that will end democracy forever, not people getting radicalized in far left groups like PSL/DSA chapters or forums/discords.

This political flip is even evident in this event, liberals are already looking for a way to blame this ICE shooting on a lack of gun control, the far right groypers (most powerful right wing terror cell of all time if you believe Bluesky, yet no one even knew of their existence two weeks ago), saying you can't trust anything from the government, instead of accepting the basic premise that someone who hates ICE shot up an ICE facility. And had terrible aim and ended up doing "friendly fire" and shot and killed detainees.

In one way I'm glad at least it's not the "far left" that's doing this currently. Remember, no adventurism, no fedpositing, and disavow.

[-] john_brown@hexbear.net 25 points 1 week ago

dang, it's almost like people without materialist analysis (liberals both dem and republican) don't have genuinely held beliefs other than their own righteousness

Both parties have to play hot potato with America's latent conspiracy culture which is continuously revitalized by worsening economic conditions and an increasingly unpopular foreign policy consensus from the defense blob whose will is executed regardless of who is in charge.

Both sides will cynically use the conspiracy thing to gain disenfranchised voters but so far neither party has produced an administration willing to combat the underlying conditions behind our all-encompassing culture of paranoia and distrust. I'm not sure either side is even capable of correctly identifying why people become conspiracy theorists in the first place.

[-] redchert@lemmygrad.ml 20 points 1 week ago

These are radicalized “normies”. People who have main lined MSNBC, Bluesky and Reddit propaganda about Trump being the fascist that will end democracy forever, not people getting radicalized in far left groups like PSL/DSA chapters or forums/discords.

Yeah this should also be empirical evidence to our forum that people being angry enough doesnt equal communism tomorrow.

[-] Diva@lemmy.ml 19 points 1 week ago

ICE putting everyone in camps,

this part isn't a conspiracy theory though I take what you mean with the rest

[-] MarmiteLover123@hexbear.net 10 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

If you look at the vast majority of the 2 million foreign born people that have left the United States since Trump took power, the vast majority is self deportation, through financial incentives offereed by the "ICE app" (can't remember what it's called. Physical ICE raids make up a minority of deportations under this model by the pure numbers, their main goal is to instill fear (which also heavily incentivises self deportation). The cruelty is the point of these ICE raids, the more fear they can instill, the more undocumented immigrants will want to self deport and avoid such cruelty and take whatever tiny incentive is offered. ICE don't have the numbers or infrastructure to deport millions physically themselves, hence the reliance on the self deportation model.

[-] Diva@lemmy.ml 13 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

that's true, since the ice raids started in my city my neighbors left the country entirely, the self deportation is a real factor. if people have the means, they probably will

They camp out at courthouses to pick people up when they show up for a court date. I've run into ICE cars parked within several blocks of my apartment several times this year, at one point they were hanging out near school bus pickups. It's absolutely about instilling fear.

However they are also straight up disappearing people. a comrade I knew though tenant organizing got picked up after a court date because they followed him home. We got his bail paid, wasnt released. He got taken out of state almost immediately, it's been like 4+ months since he got taken.

[-] thethirdgracchi@hexbear.net 18 points 1 week ago

That's why all this terrorism is so strange tbh, both on the left and the right, because it's "normie" people with strange parasocial relationships with newscasters or streamers, doing acts autonomously outside the bounds of any organization or group or whatever. It's like the Italian Years of Lead but if everybody involved had no coherent political project and were not members of any organization. It's so strange.

[-] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 13 points 1 week ago

I think it's only strange from a leftist perspective, where we are encouraged to organise because we know random acts of violence will ultimately solve nothing. For hyper-atomised and individualised Americans, the idea of working together probably never crosses their mind, and they assume that they must be the brave hero stopping the bad guys like in their media.

[-] redchert@lemmygrad.ml 8 points 1 week ago

Its the cultural narrative of the „The American Monomyth“

[-] MarmiteLover123@hexbear.net 10 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Normie terrorism is a wild thing when combined with online algorithms on mainstream platforms. How does a state manage that? Makes sense that China bans western social media and the USA wants the tiktok algorithm.

[-] barrbaric@hexbear.net 13 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

The 2020s version of Alex Jones is still QAnon, isn't it?

[-] MarmiteLover123@hexbear.net 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Think Q is really dying off now because of the whole Epstein thing with Trump. Modern right wing conspiracy is Tucker Carlson saying that the Jews killed Jesus (and by extension Charlie Kirk) at Kirk's funeral, and Candace Jones going off about how Israel killed him and Bridgette Macron is a man.

Then there's also the MDE/Sam Hyde/Fuentes groyper alt right bubble. Sam Hyde is becoming relevant again, which is scary because he's actually smart.

It's a lot less crazy if you assume every single USian is a conspiracy theorist crank at heart. US liberals were better at hiding it and not sounding like cranks relative to every other political ideology (communists, fascists, conservatives) and nonpolitical people, but the mask is off for them as well.

It's the main reason why US liberal's obsession with optics and having the veneer of rationalism and civility is so stupid. Your average USian is a fucking crank relative to the rest of the world, so you don't lose points if you sound like a crank too. If anything, being a crank and a conspiracy theorist on select topics will probably warm you up to the average USian. Remember, a substantial portion of USian unironically think the Earth is flat or that Jesus rode on a dinosaur. Being a 9/11 truther is nothing in comparison.
