This cataclysm event nets you 5x bonus XP AND higher tier drops so you can get your gear score up to the next raid tier. This season they're bringing back Stalin as a soul corupted lib and the rumor is Linen will need to be reserected to return the Soul Of Socalism to Stalin in the final raid tier so you can summon the Red Army as ghosts and finally lock away the Proto-Lich Biden before he forges his last phylactery out of the moon. There is a Trotsky side quest I guess but all you get out of it is a rare quality ice pick.
