I'm curious too. Original Sin/OS2 are really tight turn based strategy games (with D:OS2 being the best game Larian has ever made IMO (sorry BG3 fans)), but Divinity II was an ARPG, and I would not mind seeing a Larian with actual resources trying their hand at it again.
A person of culture with a bold and hot take. I respect it.
Bold, hot, and entirely correct.
Ehhhh the game is good but it's not without problems. The prison area drags on for too long. The fact that there's a hidden optional fight that can one shot kill your whole party because you're extremely under leveled was annoying as fuck. Locking magic as a plot device for the first 30 hours of the playthrough really sucked. The mandatory cheesing of some fights was annoying.
I like the game and go back to it every once in a while but BG3 is miles better IMO.
See, I like the BG3 combat better.
Magic physical split was not good for me and too many environmental damage elements at every battle
