Online tip. With respect anyone could have done this.

Filled in the fields with public info like the date of birth, perhaps a correct cell phone number, perhaps a wrong one, email account, residential address, etc. Unless there's some follow-up there's no proof his actual brother actually did this. If his brother wanted to do it I feel he could have done it over the phone or in-person as opposed to this, it wouldn't leave any less of a paper trail. This was 3 years after Epstein's death too so plenty of time for someone to fabricate this for 4chan style lols, as some other prank or for other reasons such as political ones (seething liberals, Bill Clinton trying to throw off his own trail). I find it less plausible his brother would come forward after 3 years and do it via this particular means. I mean if he had solid info he could have come to the FBI or some other law enforcement and given a statement. If he feels he'd be killed for it then why submit this tip at all without any information that might lead to anything further.

Mark Epstein confirmed that it was him who submitted the tip as I suspected.

It says online tip, but it also says that it was forwarded to another agent by the Threat Intake Examiner. Why would it be forwarded to another agent if it wasn't actually Mark Epstein? Does the Threat Intake Examiner verify the claims or does the Threat Intake Examiner send bullshit to agents? What is the purpose of the Threat Intake Examiner if it doesn't verify the legitimacy of tips? What exactly is the 'Examiner' examining?

From FBI website:

In early 2018, following the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida, the FBI took a hard look at how it processes tips and how its Public Access Line was structured and operated during that time. “It’s up to all Americans to be vigilant, and when members of the public contact us with concerns, we must act properly and quickly,” FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a statement.

NTOC threat intake examiners review online tips and answer calls every day of the year, every minute of the day and night. Examiners are provided with the technology they need to assess each caller’s tip and the substance of each tip.

The threat examiners gather as much information as possible from the caller and then conduct research and analysis to help determine where that information should be directed and what further action should be taken.

NTOC examiners relay urgent matters or situations that require immediate action to the appropriate law enforcement or public safety partners—often staying on the line with the caller until help can be summoned.

If a tip is not related to a federal law enforcement matter, the intake examiners will help the caller get to the right resource. “We try to take that extra step, maybe even just providing them a phone number,” reported Kari, an NTOC threat intake examiner.

Every tip is documented in the center’s database. If a piece of information is deemed actionable, the examiner writes up a full report in consultation with a supervisory special agent. The agent assists examiners and answers questions, oversees work, and then relays information directly to FBI field offices for further investigation.

Why did the Epstein birthday book only come out this year? There was a suspicion that Mark Epstein leaked the Trump-Epstein Birthday Letter to WSJ early this year. The reason being that Mark Epstein was suspected to believe that Trump killed his brother. The birthday book and other files in possession of the Democrat House Oversight committee were delivered by the Epstein Estate this year.

if the examiner's report was just "thought you might find this interesting" i'm not incredibly inclined to just assume they're doing any kind of research on it. i mean, if the image is all we have, the ip could go to a tor exit node for all we know

Hey smartypants, Mark Epstein confirmed to the media yesterday that it was him who submitted the tip.

But Mark has long claimed that his well-connected older brother was killed.

“Everybody who sees all the information, no one believes it was a suicide. So in that case, then it was a murder,” Mark told the Daily Beast on Tuesday. “And if it was a murder, who would have the ability to orchestrate this and have it covered up?”

He claimed that William Barr, the attorney general at the time of Epstein’s death, was “covering up for something.” He also alleged that current FBI Director Kash Patel is involved in the purported cover-up.

“Who would they be protecting, and who would have the ability or the authority to orchestrate this in a federal jail?” Mark asked.

“In the last six years, people have thrown all kinds of names at me—the Clintons, Leon Black, Mossad—all these different potential murderers. But who, out of them, would have the ability to have the DOJ cover this up?”

Mark, a real estate developer, declined to comment directly on his FBI tip, which he submitted while Joe Biden was in office, but noted that the FBI never contacted him about it.

“I don’t want anyone to think I’m just a brother who doesn’t want to believe his brother committed suicide,” Mark told the Daily Beast. “I fully believed it until the autopsy was done.”
