Austria is a country where all you have to is telling the judge that you don't remember anything to get away with all kinds of shit (as long as you're a right-wing cishet man). The most corrupt party has been in power for almost 4 decades straight and the current interior minister is a fascist. Don't expect anything to get investigated properly

Okay, so apparently there's even more to this story. There's an e-mail exchange from Epstein and Steve Bannon in 2018 about a possible meeting with then-chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who is also from the ÖVP and now works for Peter Thiel after resigning from his position due to corruption investigations. There's also now info that Epstein went to Vienna in 2019. Not sure how he managed to do that, considering that Austrian passports are only valid for 10 years. So either someone helped him or there are more passports around.

In any case, there is absolutely no way that they will allow any proper investigation.
