So its rich people shit
It was in the 1000s a few years ago. That was "professional level", not "rich people shit", because it can be a useful investment.
Now, it's "enthusiast level; affordable enough for interested people to play around with it, and cheap enough that you can let it rot in a drawer after losing interest.
What you want is probably "cheap e-waste" level.
I would call that enthusiast level rather than rich person. It's not more than a decent drone or camera or many other technology hobbies. Less than half the price of a ps5 or meta quest 3.
Sure, you could argue it probably has less function and replay value than those. But it's still not ludicrously expensive if you REALLY want it.
How much use cases would those have? Like it seems like a tool but you gotta use something like a same priced power tool quite a lot to make it worth the price
I'm watching someone on YouTube renovating an old house and they use it to make out places that leak heat and need better insulation.
For renovating many buildings it does seem like a no-brainer purchase
Do you think the husband REALLY wanted it and that's why he waited for his wife to gift it to him?
