Of course none of this was known to the murderer at the time of the murder and is no way a reason for someone to be killed. It's just post hoc handwaving to let the base know they don't need to care that she was murdered.
Yeah but the world needs to care that a racist grifter like kirk got neck tapped. So much so they wanna put him on coins and get holidays named after him
