Being a cop isn't even in the Top 15 of dangerous jobs. I've held 2 jobs in the top 5, and I never went around demanding respect because my job was so dangerous.
Pizza delivery for me. Among others, but im pretty sure that was the most dangerous one ive done. During 2020 no less
More pizza guys are killed on the job than police so yeah that checks out.
Even when adjusting for population numbers (nunbers of cop deaths vs total cops / delivery deaths vs delivery drivers) it's not even close
