I agree. Now that I'm old, my tastes are finally starting to gel, but I'm still always looking for great new musical experiences. I've gravitated to LOTS of great music, and even entire new genres, that became a regular part of my listening long past 14.

I started playing the guitar again during the pandemic, after stopping for decades. Now I've become a good enough player, that most of the time, I'd rather just listen to my own self-played solo guitar music. That definitely wouldn't have been on my radar in my teens.

That's exactly what this is all about. They want to build a Jewish Dubai, so they can experience lavish luxury without giving their money to the Muslims.

HitlerPig's "Secretary of Spirituality" has already declared that God won't let any Christian into Heaven unless they've made a pilgrimage to Israel. In a few short years, the Gaza Riviera will be operational, thanks to Kushner, and it will become standard dogma that Christians have to make a pilgrimage to the Gaza Riviera at least once in their lives, the way the Muslims all have to visit Mecca at least once. This will cause an economic boom for the luxury resort/ hotel/ condo and business owners.

As usual: Follow The Money.

Let me tl;dr that for you: literal fucking peasants would give up a quarter of their crop, and this was seen as barbarous. The wage laborer GIVES UP THE ENTIRETY OF THE PRODUCT OF HIS LABOR. In exchange, he recieves A FRACTION OF ITS VALUE IN WAGE. The relative exploitation here is obscene, and yet people like you, ignorant, think it's some sort of voluntary contract that benefits us all.

Beautiful.

Exactly. In a way, we agree with MAGA, it's time for a change. They took the initiative, and turned the country in their direction, which is evil, by any definition.

The Establishment Democrats were asleep at the wheel while this played out over 40 years, despite many warnings and steady escalations. Now, we have arrived at their Promised Land, and it is as ugly as they promised, and as a student of history, I promise you it WILL get a lot uglier, likely far beyond any of our imaginations.

We can't return to the Status Quo, because that WAS the problem. We need to create a new Paradigm, one that will not be afraid to ferociously defend Liberty from Traitors, Crooks, and worse.

I have a 20-something son who basically grew up with MAGA shitting on everything. From his perspective ( and his friends), they don't see anything wrong with trying out Socialism/ Marxism/ Communism. They feel like the current system of "Democratic Capitalism" has led to the rise of vicious MAGA Nazis, and weak Democratic defenders of our Nation, with the majority of Americans suffering to some degree, so why are we fighting so hard to preserve it?

When we emerge from the other side of this, don't expect America to go back to anything resembling what it was before.

During the pandemic quarantine, I took up the guitar, but unlike most Covid hobbies, I've stuck with it, and gotten pretty good.

Getting good at something difficult results in great feelings, as you can imagine, but I wasn't prepared for how much better it made me feel. My self-esteem and confidence went through the roof, and made me realize that I've probably been operating under a low-grade depression for my entire life.

Sometimes we're depressed and don't even know it. You come to accept that it's just how you feel, and that's your life. You don't even know it can be better, until it is.

I used to work in management for a Fortune 100 company, and they'd send people around for little afternoon management seminars on one thing or another (usually sexual harassment stuff).

One day, one of the visitors mentioned that money wasn't even in the top 5 reasons that people work, and tried to move on from that, but I stopped them, and made them repeat it, and then said "Well that's not true at all. It's literally the ONLY reason ANYONE goes to work."

They tried to argue it, but I just said "If it's a Payday Friday, and the boss doesn't hand out the paychecks, and tells everyone that there won't be any future paychecks, but they'll see everyone on Monday, the boss will walk into an empty office on Monday. Nobody works for any reason other than a paycheck "

And that was a great job, that almost everybody reading this would enthusiastically grab without thinking twice, but nobody is going to do it for free.

Music is always a great way to make friends. Most musicians want to make music with others, so they are pretty easy to approach about it. If you aren't up to their level, they'll help you, and if you are better than them, you can help them.

I'm an old guy, but I can't tell you how fast the generation gaps evaporate when musicians start talking. Decades don't matter when you are talking about your favorite music.

Music is such a great contributor to society, that I can't believe the MAGA Nazis haven't tried to ban it yet.

He should have had all those traitors rounded up on Day One, and held at Guantanamo for their roles on Jan 6, and as National Security threats in general.

Instead, he appointed the weakest Republican in existence as AG, who dithered and slow-walked the investigation, and gave the MAGA traitors a 2 year head start on the election.

The Democrats are as responsible and complicit in the MAGA rise to power as the Republicans themselves.

You need a job, so anything goes. Your only objective is to get hired, and you should do anything you can to achieve that. Corporations do whatever they can to brutally weed out applicants, so it's perfectly fair to defend your application in any way you can, including flat-out lying. If they don't check you close enough, and you get by and get hired, that's on them.
