MODERATORS
The government doesn't care about children anywhere. They're a political tool when talked about in the us, a method to get whatever legislation passed that they want that we'd otherwise oppose. "It's for the children" is never about the children.
When we bomb children in other countries, the government just doesn't care at all and will just make up any excuses as to why it's acceptable.
Here’s a blatant example of this
Where I am, our premiere made his election before Covid (sadly Covid happened and he got a second term because of it) all about a reorganizing the educational system. Some kind of integration of kindergarten and school system, he said (I kid you not, this is so cringe) that he got into politics for the kid. People believe him.
Now his integration plan is underway and kid are paying, service are eroding without the plus value promised. Specialist called it, people didn’t believe them
Kid are political pawn nothing more
