Let me guess. The Ford government told the court "they can't claim concerns around mining pollution when we've already contaminated everything with mercury. You can't reasonably claim potential harm, when you are surrounded by actual harm."

You beat me to it.

Drug Fraud working hard to kill even more First Nations people by poisoning their water and resources. And that's not even taking into account the current methylmercury issues that still affect the Wabigoon river system due to the Dryden paper mill's change in chemicals it uses to process the wood chips.

I wish that asshole had to drink water from that river for the next year and see how well he does.

That is the negotiating lever. We'll allow the mine if you let our engineers and scientists onto the mitigation board of the mine, we get a piece of the mines revenue AND you clean up the mercury first AND Doug Ford comes up here personally for a celebration dinner gala where pickerel is the dish served.
