I doubt that. See, if you actually lived in ireland and wanted to complain about a monarchy, why make up one on the other side of the world, when an actual monarchy is occupying part of your country?

Maybe you actually live in a certain fake country whose name starts with "I"? That is at war with a certain real country whose name also starts with "I"?

Obsession with a failed state that is a functional monarchy dressed in the ragged hand me downs of revolution doesn't make you a socialist.

Awareness of far more recent, far more relevant comparisons doesn't make you an imperialist.

Being Irish doesn't make me a saint but it's certainly a better education in imperialism than whatever makes people root for royalty in Mao's clothing.
