What about the thousands of death in Iran? How are we OK with that but retaliating against an attacker in self defense is bad?
I'm not okay with that. Iran should have never been attacked. Trump should have never left the nuclear deal. Adding more atrocities doesn't make things better.
Defending yourself is not an atrocity.
That would definitely not be "more atrocities", that would simply be self defense, in the most righteous way.
