Wonder what Denuvo is going to do about this

Fitgirl's statement:

Yes, I know PRAGMATA release files have been leaked. Yes, I know that PRAGMATA was Hypervisor-bypassed. No, I won’t put my repack before an official release date and time. I don’t support leaks and I don’t like when people do something for hype only. Legit users, who paid for their game deserve to play it first. Not the pirates. It doesn’t matter how much you hate Denuvo or Capcom, those games are there because people buy something from developers and publishers. And when those who don’t pay get an Advanced Access while legit customers suck their fingers is just plain wrong.

Of course, not every releaser share my principles and you’ll see releases popping here and there, but I’ll keep my stance. Leaks are bad. Don’t do leaks. Don’t use leaks. You’ve waited for years, you can wait a few hours more.

hilarious thing to post after the last few years of watching companies release extremely successful games and then fire everyone anyways

The liberal mind is truly an enigma

Hey, that's because the layoffs created more value for shareholders! Of course, the company could just decide the last one wasn't successful enough, like Capcom and Square Enix did after Resident Evil 6 and the new Tomb Raider sold millions of copies.

did capcom do layoffs? no? what's that, did they actually give people a raise? https://www.pcgamer.com/gaming-industry/while-other-gaming-companies-talk-layoffs-capcom-is-raising-salaries/

oh, it's almost like generalizing everything with sweeping statements is not useful and doesn't override the reality where things cost money regardless of shitty execs making shitty decisions. in a world filled with remakes, remasters and sequels I think we should try a bit more to reward new IPs with new ideas coming out, that's all.

meh, this entire argument hinges on piracy hurting sales when that's not the case at all
