Weird 'cause he's a libertarian. Cool of him either way.
There's no shortage of pro-Union Libertarians outside the Mises Institute. It's far more a regional thing. Hell, even when he was doing The Drew Carry Show, he had plenty of episodes with pro-labor themes. It's a big part of his midwestern schtick.
Left libertarians are real, the co opting of libertarian as a right wing (or at least Conservative) thing happened pretty recently. Or idk within my lifetime during the Ron Paul-Alex Jones era
Its been going since the 1920s at least. Murray Rothbard pioneered modern right-libertarianism. Arguably its older than that, if you get into Confederate revanchist history.
Yeah, this doesn't seem very libertarian of him lmao. I guess there are some who just like the "vibes" of being anti-big gobberment but are not shitty people when they realize the government just does what the corpos want.
this is very libertarian. he is helping voluntarily and not because he has to pay taxes. conservatives and libertarians want to pay no taxes except to fund wars, and then they can choose a whites or christians only charity to donate to. And then they will support toll roads because if you don't want to pay it, just don't travel! its so easy!
fuck libertarians.
Libertarians seem to be pretty anti war ime
They are. But many will default to supporting republicans anyway
They usually are but for the wrong reasons. Think of the money we're spending! As opposed to caring about the people being killed.
Their anti-war stance comes from them not really understanding where the treats come from
Might just be an anarcho-syndicalist but lacks the political education/awareness/language to express it.
Probably one of those “I don’t like the government telling me what size pool I can have” types that hasn’t spent more than five minutes total in their lifetime thinking about macroeconomic forces.
