MODERATORS
I still find it corny that you can't capture the king. You just get to corner the bastard and that's it. That's the game.
You could capture it. Its just pointless because you have to offer them every possible way out of it. Once its checkmate you've already won. Most players concede once the game is unwinnable anyway
