The old title was "Israel, It's Time to Consider a Cease-fire". That's a total shit title considering this is what he actually believes...

Targeted use of force with limited [with] achievable goals may serve Israel’s long-term security and prosperity more than an open-ended war to eradicate Hamas. At least Israel should be asking that question.

He's not against open-ended war because of moral or ethical reasons. He's against it because it damages the Israeli economy and it stretches their military too thin.
