At least this one has a pretty nice message. If all you read on the internet every day is doom and gloom then a being reminded that finding something to give a shit about can make life good is no bad thing!

You can tell the fake ones because they have no replies. The original writer just posts their story on /b/ or /r9k/ and takes a screenshot for reddit/lemmy/twitter before the thread dies

Most of them are likely yes. At least this is logically sound to be true. Finding meaning in life helps with a lot of things, even if it's just a bunch of shrimps.
