ah yes, comp sci majors. the most happy and fulfilled people there are.
A significant amount of compsci angst post-graduation is caused by business majors and their lack of knowledge about what they're managing. But the people who are currently students aren't complaining about that actual grievance, they're mostly bitter about other majors having more fun.
Almost like not valuing a craft (other than manipulation) leads people to value short-term gains over long-term growth and sustainability
Almost like this thought process is ruining the world
Also the fact that they get put in charge of everything and take all the money despite knowing nothing and mostly hurting the things they're put in charge of.
Good thing I've already earned the titles: Rockstar Coder, Front-End Wizard, and Multiple Hat Enthusiast.
I am dead inside ๐
Ignorance is bliss...
brb, going to grab a minor in philosophy so I can make fun of them for being ultimately useless to greater humanity and incapable of morality, ethics or self-reflection

Our freshman class had 24 students planning to enroll with CS as there major.
Of that group 6 graduated with CS and 19 with business degrees. One Student thought it was a joke how easy it was and said "fuck it" and double majored in CS and business.
Your freshman class only had 24 CS majors? How small was your school?
it was a small private college. i think ~2000 undergrads
Business majors picked their course of study based on their availability to attend parties.
Business is one of the majors people make fun of for being a useless degree that teaches nothing.
But surprisingly useful to signal to hr that you aren't just any moron, you're their moron ๐
Bonus,
What they think they look like, what they're actually like
It was the default major for our football team.
Business degrees have a curriculum designed for toddlers to make sure they have plenty of time to go to their frat parties on the weekend.
