Sorghum grains can also be popped like popcorn if I remember correctly
Don't most grains do similar things? I know rice grains will puff up like that, and I've heard that it's believed that was sort of the original way of cooking wheat before containers to boil them into porridge in were invented, just getting the seeds hot enough that they puff up and become soft and edible.
