Highjacking the "what are you playing" thread tradition since it's a busy time for most folks, hope it's ok @slimerancher@lemmy.world ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

What is everybody playing this (hopefully long) weekend? I keep playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I haven't put many hours on it yet, but it's been super fun all along. I also got the physical edition of Quake II from LRG recently, so I play some missions single player every now and then. On my DS I started Metroid: Samus Returns. I've been wanting to play some Metroid and I hadn't played this one before. So far so good!

Probably some new Switch owners on Christmas day, hopefully that translates into welcoming new members to this community ๐Ÿ™Œ

What about youse? What have you been playing or are planning to play?

You're in for an adventure! I got it day one too, and decided to stop playing at 100 hours since it was taking most of my free time ๐Ÿ˜… I'll get back to it and finish it at some point, I think I'm not even halfway through the main quest.

I completed the game at around 100 hours, but my total completion is at 46%. I may get back to it someday, but there is so much to play...

I know I'll get back to it soon. I can't believe how long it's been since the game's out! Hopefully the Switch will give us a break for a few months so I can catch up with everything I want to play... But then again, there's usually a Direct in February ๐Ÿ˜…

Switch 2 is my hope. I don't think there can be that many big games coming out for the Switch, I'd guess -if any- more remakes.

Yeah, but I meant, I have such huge backlog, even with Switch 2, I am not sure which game to wish for ๐Ÿ˜€ e.g. Metroid Prime 4, I want to play Metroid Prime 1-3 before I play 4, so while it would be nice to finally have some news about it, I don't care about it too much.

That is why if you have seen this week's thread, I am planning to ignore newer games for a while and take care of the older games in my list.

Yeah, I'm kind of the same just now. It'd be really nice to see anything from Metroid Prime 4! But I assume it'll be on the next console.
