it would be funny if it wasn't so fucking terrifying that this giant wedge of unyielding, purposefully crumple zone free metal is operated either by a tesla "autopilot" or the least reasonable bazinga brains on the planet

One of my favorite (read: existentially terrifying) things about these bazinga mobiles is that there's such an emphasis on how fast they can accelerate too.

The 0-60 on a cybertruck is faster than a brand new Ferrari and the truck weighs twice the Ferrari. Force is a function of mass and acceleration. Doubling the mass doubles the force and when it's already at speed, it doubles the kinetic energy. All that to say, it'll be very effective at smashing whatever it hits.

I see, so it's the mass of a stock military Hummer with an order of magnitude more power to weight ratio. I cannot wait to see the first police chase in the US involving one.
