Privatizing the US national helium reserve. Gonna laugh when in a few years the government of another nation ends up owning it. Helium is dwindling finite resource that key technological infrastructure relies upon.

You mean Russia has been fascist since Peter the Great till now, with brief interruptions in 1905-1914 and 1991-1993 ?

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. Literally what happened to a friend of mine. He was in a bookshop and only had enough money to buy Fellowship or Atlas Shrugged and chose Fellowship because he'd be able to buy a soda with the change.
