magic the gathering cards are worth a lot and they're not a regulated security so you can do all kinds of fraud and shit or corner the market on some obscure card from 1996 that you can't do with stonks, and the ROI is better and more reliable.

There was a guy who posted a bounty for an obscure card, bought massive amounts, and then reached to pro players to bribe them into including in tournament lists (last part failed, card was too mid).

Still, very funny
