Looking at their track record so far when faced with the GOP pushing extreme views, they'll probably advance a bill that legalizes killing documented migrants too.

This bill already has that! It's actually not strictly about mifrants but extending castle doctrine in Arizona to make it legal to kill anyone in your property, regardless if they're any threat or even remotely close to you.
