I had to rewind a cassette tape with a pencil to preserve my batteries' charge
Did you just stick the pencil through and spin the tape round by shaking the pencil like a noise maker? Gotta slow down near the end of the tape or you stretch the tape where its attached to the reel.
yea I learned you need to be careful the hardway but there were definitely noise maker type rotations involved from time to time
