catbox.moe offers temporary hosting of up to a gig. gofile.io offers something similar for free users.

Easiest solution is to create a new torrent using your chosen bittorrent client and then post the magnet link.
This is an option but also exposes their IP address(es) and general location to anyone who connects

Unless all involved use a VPN, yes. I had that thought but you're right I should have mentioned it.
I swapped my VPN over and refreshed the page when I hit the limit.
