we don't exactly know, but it was apparently something very normal that resulted in Matt needing some additional skull
Matt himself has said it was a stroke in his tweets,
Ah I missed that. They were being private about it for quite a while
and they announce it with this pic, where the hat's curve makes his head look even more like it's missing part of the skull... it's art.
He had a stroke last year, around October IIRC.
Oh shit
He took a big hit and it's clearly going to be a long recovery, but he's still posting occasionally on Twitter and while they're a bit more...gnomic...in aesthetic due to his condition, he's still got it.
