Completely missed my point but go ahead and make assumptions anyways rather than asking :D In a post Indie boom world where games like Hollow Knight and Pal-world can dominate the market there isn't a stigma with players about 2D or 3D and hasn't really been since about the 2000's. Hence it's a pretty dated take if Nintendo's management or IGN are seeing this as a hot topic.
Well that’s a completely different point that it read like you were making, and I do agree with your clarification!
