If you are citing a Twitter post as news, please include the Xcancel.com (or another Nitter instance) or at least strip out identifier information from the twitter link. There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance, such as Libredirect or archive them as you would any other reactionary source.

Archive sites: We highly encourage use of non-paywalled archive sites (i.e. archive.is, web.archive.org, ghostarchive.org) so that links are widely accessible to the community and so that reactionary sources don’t derive data/ad revenue from Hexbear users. If you see a link without an archive link, please archive it yourself and add it to the thread, ask the OP to fix it, or report to mods. Including text of articles in threads is welcome.

We just gotta swallow our pride and accept that the nominee is less than perfect and then next election we can focus on getting some good done, but right now we need to avoid the dang Cheeto! And we can push Biden left anyway, of course we shouldn't actually try to push him left because that might mean the Cheeto gets elected, but we could in theory try to push Biden left.
The way being a politician works is that you appeal to your base in order to win votes. You're not owed those votes, they're not a right. If you can't appeal to your voters, you don't get elected. Going "I'm not as bad as the other guy" isn't really a good strategy, it only works if you're the only other choice and the other guy is absolutely horrendous. If you're just as or almost just as shitty as the other guy, then it most certainly don't work.
