It happens like clockwork. America finding out that their economy was based on deferring the cost of maintenance and acting like those chickens would never come home to roost. Such a stupid fucking reality.
Companies will stop skirting regulations/punishing whistleblowers when it stops being profitable, and no one with power is interested in that outcome
