I feel very grateful that I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Uh so the short version is that Helena Blavatsky was a minor Russian noblewoman who moved to India and created a religion called Theosophy that appropriated a bunch of Hindu and Buddhist concepts and that made up religion is the source of basically all new age "spiritualism" and is also the source of Nazi occultism and the Nazi idea of some Europeans being "Aryans" also derives from Theosophy.
I'm not saying all woo woo types are Nazis, but you gotta keep your eyes on em
When a story starts with Helena Blavatsky, it usually ends with copious amounts of and a ton of Hitler particles.
I have cursory knowledge of theosophy, some philosophers I know were theosophists (Bergson, Berdyaev), but I generally do stay away from the occult as it does get fashy often.
I just don't know what you're talking about space seeds or whatever, but maybe I don't want to know.
Oh that part, some of these new age people think that their souls are the souls of aliens from other planets or galaxies or constellations or whatever, they call themselves star seeds. My understanding is that this influencer specifically believes herself to be a pleiadian, and star seed people generally depict pleiadians as tall pale white people with long blonde hair and blue eyes. For me that sets off pretty big red flags.
crackers go back to where you came from (the Pleiades)
White people are aliens, got it.
Unlimited HeavensGate on them [not me and my likes tho]
another kkkrackkka down
Posadas had white savior syndrome like every other Troskyist
Yeah but would you believe... Actually never mind, this is the best place you can get to, its only downhill from here. Never look any further into it please
Europe is such a boring subcontinent, these days even the racists don't want to be from Europe
This is what the film Get Out was about lol
Was it? I watched it but I don't remember this!
Give it a rewatch! It's basically about how racists fetishize their victims and want to take over their lives to basically do what they're doing "better."
Stars seeds are basically Scientology adjacent where people think their soul came from another dimension or galaxy and are here to guide the world into a golden age.
Blavatsky claimed to have visited Tibet back when it was closed to Europeans, as it should have stayed, although sidebar: it's kinda neat to see how the British Empire overextend its grasp as it fell into decline through the Younghusband (military) Expedition which was pretty blatantly the overtures of the Brits attempting to establish an embassy with which to further expand the British Raj (although this would never come to fruition).
From memory Chinese government officials demanded that the Ganden Phodrang, the Tibetan theocratic Gelug government which was headed by its (roughly) alternating reincarnations of the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama (with periods of regency interspersed between those two), expel the Younghusband Expedition and they refused to accede to this demand because they were getting cosy with the idea of their tributary state status lapsing as China experienced a decline due to the Qing Dynasty being the Qing Dynasty and failing to maintain its suzerainty over Tibet as it faced its decline and ultimate collapse.
Blavatsky claimed to have stayed with a Kashmiri who lived in Tibet (Kashmiris living in Tibet is extremely plausible), who was a vegetarian (very implausible on account of the fact that a vegetarian diet in the Tibetan plateau was, until recently, basically a pipedream unless you were wealthy enough to be regularly importing food and very implausible on account of the fact that a Kashmiri in Tibet in this era is either most likely going to be a travelling merchant or part of the Muslim untouchable Ragyabpa caste in Tibet who served as butchers due to the Tibetan Buddhists wanting to "outsource" the bad karma accumulation by the profession of butchery to the heathens for whom they held basically zero concern for. What a charming little arrangement, huh?) who she also claimed was a teacher of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism to students (fairly implausible that a Kashmiri would be well-versed enough in Gelug-specific Tibetan Buddhism that they would have Tibetan students [Why would Tibetans go to a non-native speaker to be instructed on the dominant school of Tibetan Buddhism at that time from a person who is reasonably certain to have not studied as a monk and developed the debate skills that are critical to the Gelug school in particular and who wouldn't have had access to sacred Gelug texts that any nearby Gelug monastery would have in their repositories? If we are talking committed students of the Gelug school then there's virtually zero chance that he would be "qualified" or permitted to transmit empowerments, so it's baffling to try to come up with any decent reason why he would have any students or how he sourced his income.] The only plausible thing about all of this is that a Kashmiri migrant would align themselves to the dominant Gelug school because it would put them in proximity to power and they would find themselves in the good graces of the Tibetan government.)
Idk, but it just seems like too tall a tale for me to believe without a lot of supporting evidence. And that's cherry-picking the most plausible parts of her alleged Tibetan adventures.
Tbh it seems much more believable that her knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism came from contact with the Russians Kalmyks and she used that to fabricate the rest of her claims about Tibet and Tibetan Buddhism. (Although it would be kinda convenient to believe that the proto-fash Blavatsky was doing her research in Tibet in the same way that a later Nazi expedition would conduct because of how it would rhyme.)
Speaking of Nazis in Tibet, did you know that Brad Pitt starred as a sympathetic Nazi protagonist in the Hollywood blockbuster movie Seven Years In Tibet, which was based on the story of Heinrich "I just joined the SS because it was the fashion at the time and I somehow managed to get promoted to the Oberscharfuhrer rank as well as having a private audience with Hitler, which I was was very enthusiastic about" Harrer?
Brad Pitt got banned from China for this (lol get rekt - 7 years in Tibet, how about 17 years of stay the fuck away from China instead?) but tbh he and everyone involved in the production of that film aside from the workers who were just like a gaffer or a caterer or whatever should have been banned from existence.
This reminds me of a girl I knew in Argentina, who was in butcher's school because, in her words, a butcher's family always have meat in the table.
A butcher in Argentina not only will always have meat on the table but they're always going to have cash in their pocket because I can't think of a country that would have a higher demand for the services of butcher lol.
There's also the kernel of a joke in there about how that Argentinian's highest priority is ensuring that their chosen profession will provision them with a steady supply of meat. Maybe an interview joke?
"Tell me why you would like to be employed here with us."
"Because it's very important to me that I have a continual supply of meat to my kitchen and being employed at your company will provide for this need."
Everything I learn about the history of woo makes me hate these people more. God damn Nazi hippies.
There is a very short and very fast-moving pipeline that exists between the spiritualist woo hippie thing and fascism.
Since we're talking Blavatsky, fascism, and Nazi hippies, you do know about the starseed movement, right? Surely you must...
I was already vaguely aware of it, although it's just recently that I found out that the kind of "alien" soul a lot of them think they have is just a tall white guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, which is so much worse than thinking your soul is like, a grey or a space octopus or something.
If you don't want to waste your time digging into the trash heap just to add frustration to your life I respect that choice but if you want to learn more about it there's this piece on it
Fast moving pipeline? Its basically a teleporter in my experience with the sorts.
Kinda like... the pyramids?? 🤯🤯🤯
If someone is willing to believe that wishful thinking will magically solve all their problems, it's not much of a stretch to get them to believe that the jews are the reason it isn't working because of their evil jewish counter-magic.
