TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.
Fun will now commence.

Didn't that happen because the actress left the show? The way it played out was disappointing though
She left because she was tired of being harassed by Rick Berman.
Yeah I just read some excerpts posted from her book and it's looking like it's 10% wanting new roles and opportunities, 10% just trying to have a conversation about said reduction in hours for the 6th of 7th season, and 80% Rick Berman being a misogynist and a pushy boss. Which, he can probably take up another 10% because he's the reason she wanted reduced hours on that show and he was the one making it difficult to get a conversation started on it, kept pushing her to sign and said she was playing hardball with negotiations that had yet to happen.
What's her book called? I may check it out
It was an excerpt from a different book she gave an interview in it seems. It's called 50 Year Mission, by Mark A. Altman and Edward Gross.
She wanted to drop down to a recurring character instead of a main character, I think for family reasons. A recurring charector would be in fewer episodes, but still be part of the show.
He killed her off instead.
I thought it was a Me Too situation where she wanted better treatment and this was the result. If you believe Will Wheaton, RB if a terrible person who made his life hell until he left.
It's very likely both
